This year Hope for Healing presents the Roots Dinner at West Glow Farm in Kingston Springs, TN.  The farm will be a beautiful September backdrop for a garden-to-table meal shared with an update on an amazing year of our growing mission in the Nashville area.  You won’t want to miss our Cocktails In The Creek! A magical, celebratory evening…and ALL for a compelling cause!

 

For 11 years, through our Meals 4 Health and Healing program, The Heimerdinger Foundation has provided over 225,000 servings to over 3,000 people undergoing cancer treatment and to their caregivers, free of charge, in Davidson and Williamson Counties. This program is the only one of its kind in our community. 2024 is our year of exponential growth - we have built and relocated to a new commercial kitchen and centralized work space, and we have the potential to serve hundreds more people soon. This can only happen with your help!

 

We know all too well that a cancer diagnosis can affect the emotional health of patients, families, and caregivers, causing feelings of anxiety, distress, loneliness, and depression. This life-changing experience impacts everyday routines, work, and personal lives. It makes balancing households, treatments, and nourishment challenging. Meals 4 Health and Healing directly offers nutrient-rich, anti-inflammatory meals to patients fighting cancer during a time when eating right can make all the difference. Our mission to nourish the hearts, minds, and bodies of those facing cancer through the power of healthy meals and nutrition education has never been more critical as our community faces chronic, debilitating health challenges.
