From the Desk of the Executive Director – October 2023

Fall greetings from our team!

We’re thrilled to report that a lot of progress has been made on our new kitchen and office space in Berry Hill. There’s been quite a transformation of the space, and we’re including a few pictures so that you can see the progress! You’ll see the front lobby area with hallway to offices and the built-out kitchen almost ready for weekly meal production. Some of the equipment you may see is equipment that we have been gifted over the past few years. We are pulling it out of storage, cleaning it, and putting it to use. We also have new kitchen equipment that we’ve needed to purchase in order to round out our meal production space, and it is currently being delivered. 

We still have a few weeks ahead to push through final details and inspections but anticipate a move soon. This move will be a big transition for us but we are excited and, as always, grateful to you for journeying along with us during this incredible chapter in our nonprofit’s life. Thank you for being by our side. Our fervent hope is that you continue to join us in our growing mission in this new space!  We need you and look forward to keeping you updated on the latest, as your belief in our mission encourages and sustains our work.
